20 quick and easy vegan snacks
Sometimes we all need a little snack to keep us going until our next meal, but it can be easy to grab something that isn’t good for us. So, we’ve rounded up 20 of our favourite easy, healthy vegan snacks for you to try out!
Vegan Yoghurt with Fruit and Granola
It’s super simple and easy to make. Just pop some of your favourite vegan yoghurt into a bowl, add some granola and pile on your favourite fruits. You can even make it look pretty for an Instagram!
Rice Cakes with Peanut Butter and Sliced Banana
Slather a hearty amount of peanut butter onto a plain rice cake, and add some fresh, sliced banana. You could even mix it up by adding some vegan chocolate chips or coconut flakes.
Smoothies

Edamame
Make your own or buy them pre-cooked. These little soy beans are tasty and will help satisfy any salty cravings.
Kale Chips
Making your own kale chips is easy, simply drizzle kale leaves with olive oil and salt, then pop them in the oven (180C/Gas 4) for 10-15 minutes and you’re done! They’re great for when you’re craving something salty.
Sweet Potato Fries
Who says fries can’t be healthy? Cut sweet potato into fries and stick them in the oven (220C/Gas 7) for 20-30 minutes until they’re crisp. Simple, easy and delicious.
Pita and Hummus
A simple and easy snack. Simply toast a pita bread or two, cut into strips and serve with your favourite hummus dip!
Crudités and Guacomole
Like pita and hummus, this is super easy but very tasty. Cut carrot, cucumber and celery and serve with guacomle.
Apples and Peanut/Almond Butter
If you want something with a little bit of sweetness, why not try slicing up an apple and serving it with a side of peanut or almond butter? Sweet and salty. You could even try using banana instead of apples.

Ants on a log is one of the easiest snacks to make. Take a stick of celery, fill the centre with peanut or almond butter and top with a few raisins.
Frozen Dark Chocolate and Banana Bites
These make a great sweet snack and they can be made in large batches to keep for later! Slice up a banana and dip each slice into some dark chocolate. Place them onto a plate, or baking tray, and stick them in the freezer. Perfect if you’re craving some ice cream without the extra calories.
Apple “Nachos”
Thinly slice some apples and drizzle with your favourite nut butter. Add vegan chocolate chips, coconut and chia seeds to add more flavour.
Apple “Cookies”
Apples are quite versatile when it comes to vegan snacks. Slice an apple across so it forms cookie shapes and remove the core. Coat one side of the apple slice in peanut or almond butter and top with vegan chocolate chips, nuts and coconut.
